Experience

After finishing my translation studies in 2009 in addition to translating theatre plays and subtitles for streaming media services, I started teaching German as a foreign language and have been gladly doing so ever since. In the beginning I worked for Ibis Acam Bildungs GmbH, followed by Mentor GmbH, both language course providers for unemployed people in Vienna. Then courses at the BFI (Berufsförderungsinstitut) and other smaller language schools across Vienna followed.

From 2012 on I have been teaching mostly in one-to-one settings, expats working for international companies like Coca-Cola, Henkel, Mars, Mondi, Pernod Ricard, Suzano, Sandoz, Imperial Tobacco and many more, as well as their family members.

Teaching approach

My students can come to me with every question and problem they have.
The communication skills they acquire in their new language are adapted to their communication situations. We will practice talking to colleagues at the new workplace, writing business e-mails, prepare presentations for superiors.
We can prepare for talks with doctors, taxi drivers, neighbours and your kids' teachers.
